Travel and Teach was first started by Shane Bennett, a graduate from Ottawa University, Canada. After finishing his fifth year teaching in Korea, he returned to his native Canada, where friends and acquaintances alike requested Shane’s time in order to discuss his adventure, and how they could go about finding teaching positions themselves - as such, Travel and Teach was born.

Everyone who works at Travel and Teach has taught in Korea. Our combined years of experience in a variety of cities throughout Korea allows our teachers the advantage of gaining a personal insight on what they can expect during their time there. We therefore feel that we are able to provide a service to our teachers that is unique from other agencies. We maintain that we always keep our teachers’ best interests in mind as opposed to dealing with them like numbers, and our continued support throughout your time in Korea proves this.
