Location Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Working Days Monday – Friday
Working Hours 10 am – 7 pm or 11 am – 8pm
Age of Students Kindergarten/Elementary students
Class Size 10 students per class
# of Foreign Teachers 12
Salary 2.1-2.4 million won per month
+ National Pension Plan (100,000 won per month)
Severance Equal to one month’s salary on completion of your contract
Vacation 10 days + All Korean National Holidays
Accommodations Single, fully furnished apartment provided by the school
Health Insurance 50% covered by the school; 50% covered by you
Airfare One-way airfare provided

Songpa District is a residential district in Seoul, that is located in the eastern part of the city. Songpa is a very nice area that has grown immensely in size over the last 10 years. It boasts plenty of restaurants – both Korean and western -cafes, pubs and bars . There are also plenty of activities to take part in, which makes the area desirable to people who lead a fulfilling lifestyle. The Songpa Subway Station is on the Seoul Subway line, so you can get to anywhere in the city that you need to in no time at all.

More About the School

This school was established in 2001 and has been growing in students and teachers ever since. The working atmosphere is friendly and inviting as all of the teachers at the school are eager to help each other out with the different curriculum allotted for each level. There is a ‘family feeling’ among the English teachers who hang out and take trips on the weekends and holidays together.
