Like any city in Korea, Yongin has many markets, bars and amazing restaurants. However, it also offers a lot of culture! The Korean Folk Village is located in Yongin. It is the biggest folk village in Korea. It has all kinds of traditional markets, food stalls and other historical aspects of Korean culture such as woodworking and metalworking. There, you can learn all about what Korea looked like hundreds of years ago. Also, you can watch traditional performances of Korean culture like dances, weddings and other activities. The Korean Folk Village is a great place to learn all about how Korea operated in the past and to get a new exposure to Korean culture.

Despite being a major, bustling city, Yongin has tons of peaceful walking paths that wind their way around the city. Many teachers even walk to work along these paths or use them as jogging routes for before and after work. There is also a beautiful lake in the city that is a great place for unwinding and relaxing.
